This is Floyd. He is almost 14 years old, and we think he is part Maine Coon. I adopted him from a no-kill animal shelter when he was about 12 weeks old. He is the oldest of our cats.
In February he was diagnosed with lymphoma, pancreatitis and hepatits. He had gone from 22 lbs to 11. We were very worried, but he is a real fighter. He started taking his meds (he is very good about it) and at his last vet visit was back up to 15 3/4 lbs, which is almost where he should be for his size (his head is literally twice as big as the others, he is that big).
He is a great big brother to all the other cats, and usually is very patient with them - even the youngest who loves to attack his tail. He is just a wonderful, sweet cat who we hope has many wonderful years left.
