Most of us know that we are going to suffer in one way or another if we have poor credit.
And when you are trying to buy a new car with bad credit its not going to be easy.
It is only easy if your credit is immaculate.
In fact, even if you have only missed a single payment to your credit card or loan you could be denied credit for a car.
With this in mind let us look at a few options as to how to buy a new car with bad credit.
Most of us are familiar with the routine of buying a new car.
You discuss generally what you are after with the salesperson.
You see a car you like.
You then discuss terms with the salesperson and the deal is done and you have yourself a new car.
If you have poor credit however its not going to be that easy.
But there are things you can do to enhance your chances of it going the other way and you can actually get the new car of your dreams after all.
You need to know well before walking into an auto dealership how much you want to spend and how much you are capable of paying off each month.
Its good policy too, to have an idea as to the percentage rate of interest you are prepared to pay for the life of the payment of the car.
Then re-consider if you really do need to have the new car or a used car would do well enough.
If the answer is still yes, and you have decided that a new car is the best option then let's proceed further.
And so here we are, ready to go and look at those new cars and try and get the best deal we can on it too.
Here's a tip for you though.
If you know of a dealer who is struggling a bit to make sales for various reasons - a poor economy is a perfect reason - then do by all means approach this dealer first.
You will often find that if your credit is not too bad they will offer you decent finance terms purely because they are very keen to move some of their cars.
Its very much in their interest to get as many customers as they can thus they will tend to overlook bad credit ratings provided they are not too bad.
If your current income is good - meaning above $1,200 US a month and your outgoings are fairly low then you have all the more chance of landing a decent deal if you want to buy a new car with bad credit.
And with this comes your ability to negotiate that bit more - you are in a stronger position.
So finding a good deal in order to buy a new car with bad credit need not be such a tall order after all providing you have a few things in place to make it happen.
