Why Did You Begin Blogging:

At first it was a dare but writing has always been a passion I never pursued. I was surprised at how quickly the readership and community grew. It felt like I had friends all over.

Reasons for Being a Stay-at-Home Mom:

Two kids, ages 4 and 2

Before Becoming a Stay-at-Home Mom:

I was a software engineer for 12 years before becoming pregnant with my first child.

I went back a few months but felt like I was doing 2 jobs badly.

Most Rewarding Part of Being a SAHM:

The responsibility of helping carve out a future and molding a child's vision of the world.

Biggest Challenge You Face as a SAHM:

The loneliness and lack of respect by others. People talk to you as if you don't have a brain anymore.

Best Advice for Other Stay-at-Home Moms:

Build a supportive community around yourself and give yourself a break, since no-one else will.
