You can improve eyesight naturally by following a basic diet and avoiding certain activities, which would facilitate the strengthening of core muscles and nerves within the eye.
Initially, one might not recognize definitive increases in one's strength of vision; however, over time, there should be a genuine increase in clarity of vision.
Here are some components of a basic strategy: 1) Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C both help slow down the general deterioration of the eyes that comes with age and improve eyesight.
The antioxidant properties of Vitamin of A and E are an added benefit.
2) Lutein and Omega 3 fats, the former found in leafy green vegetables and the latter found in fish oils, also help to strengthen the eye.
Fish oils, in particular, help facilitate healthy brain activity and may assist in strengthening the nerve cells needed to keep eyes working properly.
3) A diet that includes carrots may also add a bit to general eye health, though not as much as many have been popularly led to believe.
4) You can improve eyesight naturally by staying away from some harmful activities.
Watching too much television or staring at a computer monitor for too long can damage the eyes over time.
To some extent, a simple decrease in the amount of time one stares at those tools and others similar can help improve vision.
In general, one should not use the computer or the television for more than 45 minutes at a time without a break.
5) During a break in one's work activity or a similar type of activity that may strain the eyes, closing one's eyes and taking deep breaths or closing one's eyes and slowly scanning the sun or another bright source of light may also help to increase vision.
6) Meditation is also an effective tool to improve eyesight naturally.
