Turning popular web sites into books seems to be the latest fad. There probably isn't a single casual user of the Internet who hasn't had one or more LOL Cats or I Can Has Cheezburger" cats mailed to them. Some of them are belly-laugh funny, others may draw a chuckle, some just a smile or shoulder-shrug. Amazon reviewers reward the I Can Has Cheezburger? book a grudging 3.5 stars (out of 5).

Guide Review - I Can Has Cheezburger?
This book is a compilation of LOL.com and ICanHasCheezburger.com cat pictures, complete with clever captions. In fact, as on the respective web sites, LOL cat-speak is at least 50% of the laugh quotient of any given picture. These sites are so viral that there are even LOL cat-speak dictionaries and LOL translation programs for the uninitiated. Cat-speak has been around for years, in fact our About.com Cats Forum has an ongoing Kitty Net where it is spoken exclusively. However, LOL cats and I Can Has Cheezburger cats have taken it to new, dizzying heights.
It was then just a matter of time before the originators of LOL cat decided to capitalize by creating books.
The photos in this book are cute enough in themselves, but the clever captions give them new meanings. Even a photo with three sets of glowing cats eyes, becomes a work of art with the caption "Lazer Settings." All in all, I often found this book "spurt-Coke-on-the-monitor" funny.
