Government Demands - Spare the Rod and Spoil the Child
In the eyes of God, our creator, we are children just as our children are ours till death, from God to us.
Just as a mother to be goes through the birthing process to give birth to a child, God went through a process in the creation of all things including man.
How painful was the birthing process for God? No man alive knows however, in Genesis 1:9-10, God spoke earth into existence: 1:9 "And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
" 1:10 "And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
" God also created all that is in the heavens and the earth and below the earth.
It is not stated in the bible that God suffered pain in the creation of man but, God's pain was caused by man accepting Satan.
However, he did multiply a woman's pains in child birth, thanks to sins committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden after yielding to Satan's influences.
So what does all this have to do with rearing children? The simple answer is, "everything".
If God is the master of all creation, would he not also be wise enough to instruct mankind in the proper way to raise children.
Many mistakes in child rearing have been made in the past, present and many more will be made in the future.
Because each child is an individual creation by God, they are not cookie cutter products and as a result what works perfectly with one child, may have the opposite effect on another.
However, following biblical instructions has the greatest chance for successful child rearing.
Because of the importance of child rearing to posterity of a nation, governments of the past and present have sought to impose their ideas, but not with the intent of creating positive and productive citizens.
Rather, they have shown a desire to indoctrinate with the intent of creating a supply of workers for the good of the government state.
With a focus on sustaining and advancing what is best for the state, at the expense of individuals within the state, major efforts are made to push God's teaching, through Jesus Christ, to the back of the societal bus and eventually completely out of society.
Proverbs 13:24 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
" KJV "He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.
" NIV Undisciplined children have a very good chance of becoming undisciplined adults.
Undisciplined adults often will eventually run a foul with the very government that said they should not be reared according to biblical principles.
Unruly and undisciplined children become another drain on the states resources and its tax payers.
These economic drains and social strains can often be seen in the prison system and through increasing numbers of incarcerated individuals.
Thus, an increase in taxes are demanded and manipulated by the government.
But, it does not stop with prisons.
Welfare and government sponsored assistance programs are demanded by those in the business of producing children just for an increase in payments from the state.
These individuals, usually women, are usually not seeking higher education and thus not seeking jobs that may produce sufficient funds to pay their own way.
As more unskilled and low skilled workers are produce, this continues to force wages downward on low paying jobs, and promotes acceptance to an ever enlarging circle of poverty.
Without discipline irrational and illogical thought flourishes, producing more burdens and stress on a productive society as a whole.
One solution to many of today's troubles is returning to God's "Judea Christian" teaching and principles through Jesus Christ.
It is clear government and academic direction "FORWARD" is also "DOWNWARD" toward barbarianism.
This benefits those in charge and does little for a nation as a whole.
A nation of barbarians need an evil and overbearing, tyrannical government because the people are not free in thought, mind, spirit, or property.
However, a free people have no need for an oppressive and tyrannical government.
The people choose for themselves.
For a free and Christian people, a tyrannical government is the home and domain of barbarians.
