It was recently reported that the most popular used car that customers were looking out for was a BMW, the second-hand car market is awash with people searching for good quality BMW's.
Online used car website Autoquake found from analysing the search patterns of visitors to their site that the German manufacturers were the most often sought after and BMW topped the list.
This however should come as no surprise to anyone in the industry as these cars are always popular with consumers.
The top seven slots were all taken by German manufacturers and only Britain's favourite car manufacturer, Ford with the Focus and Mondeo managed to stop them making a clean sweep of the table.
By just doing what they are famous for and providing strong, durable and stylish cars the Germans continue to dominate the used car market year after year.
Results show that they have a massive 59.

The Japanese always renowned for bringing technical innovation, while chic style is the Italian speciality, quirky and often bewildering French designs and British engineering are always the victims of German reliability and value.
British manufacturers faired better coming third with 9.
1% of the market share just behind the Japanese on 9.
8% but ahead of the Americans who scored 8.
