How to Manually Remove Symantec EndPoint
- 1). Click the "Start" button and then select the "Run" option. Type "services.msc" into the text box and click the "OK" button. This will open the services applet.
- 2). Scroll through the list and locate the service for Symantec Embedded Database.
- 3). Right-click and select "Stop" from the context menu. This will stop the service from running. Repeat this step for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and World Wide Web Publishing Service.
- 1). Click the "Start" menu and type "Programs and Features" into the search box. Press the "Enter" key and then wait for the list of programs to be displayed in the window.
- 2). Scroll through the list of programs and look for Symantec Endpoint.
- 3). Click the name of the program and then click the "Uninstall/Change" button. Follow the prompts on the screen to remove the program.
- 1). Go to the softpedia web page for the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Click the "Download" button.
- 2). Click the "Softpedia Mirror (US)" link and save the file to your desktop. Double-click on the file to install the program.
- 3). Click the "Start" menu and go to the "All Programs" option. Click on "Windows Installer Cleanup" to open the program.
- 4). Select "Symantec Endpoint" from the list and click the "Remove" button.
