- 1). Blot the cat-urine stain with the paper towels immediately after you find the stain, absorbing as much from the clothing as possible.
- 2). Mix 3 cups of hot water and 1 cup of white distilled vinegar in a large bowl.
- 3). Soak your clothing in the mixture up to 40 minutes.
- 4). Remove the clothing from the bowl and prepare to wash it in your washer. Add 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar and your regular amount of detergent to the cycle.
- 5). Submerge your clothing in the vinegar mixture and wash it again if part of the stain remains, repeating the process as necessary.
