- 1). Log into your computer as the administrator from the log-in window.
- 2). Click on the "Terminal" icon from the "Applications" icon.
- 3). Type "$date" into the Terminal and press the "Enter" button.
- 4). Wait for "date MMddhhmm[[cc]yy]" to appear on the screen and then change the "month," "day," "hour" and "minutes" from the "MM," "DD" "HH" and "MM" texts.
- 5). Enter the first two digits of the year into the "cc" text and the last two digits of the year into the "yy" prompt.
- 6). Press the "Enter" button to set the time and date.
