Since everybody knows nowadays about the damage the polluted air around us can do to our bodies, not to mention about the unhealthy foods and drinks, smoking and inhaling all the toxins from our cars, many people started exercising in order to at least tone their bodies.
But together with heavy work outs come back pain and muscular fatigue.
So working out too much sometimes leads to a bad pain in your back.
But that isn't the only way people can get that pain.
It's also very common for people who work in their offices all day and sit on a chair in front of their computer to experience even worse pain.
Not to mention elder people who usually start to find any kind of activity harder and harder to do.
One of the methods of getting rid of a pain in the back, which can be applied on anyone, is a massage.
Especially if you use a special ointment which is meant to relax the muscles, the massage also relieves the stress and puts your blood to work, so your back recovers faster.
This is a good method to apply on people of any age.
Then there is easy exercise.
It is proven that strengthening your back muscles by doing mild exercises, such as low impact aerobic exercise can really do the trick, not to mention the other benefits which come from working out, but not too hard this time.
But just getting rid of the back pain won't stop it from coming back if you continue to do whatever caused it in the first place.
So if you're sitting lots of hours in a chair, make sure that you don't always stay in the same position and that you find some time to walk around a little, or your back pain will be back in no time.
Believe it or not, even the bed you're sleeping in matters, because if it's too hard, it can make your spine uncomfortable, by keeping it too straight.
But if the mattress is too soft, than your back might have the tendency to curve however you move, which can lead to unhealthy positions of the spine again.
The best mattress is somewhere in the middle.
It must be firm enough not to let your spine curve and soft enough to let your spine stay in its natural position.
Therefore, in order to have a pain-free back, you need to prevent its pain rather than having to treat it.
