How to Add a Flight to the iPhone
- 1). Look for the "Calendar" application on your iPhone, identifiable by a calendar icon. The "Calendar" icon always displays the current date (for example, the number "10" for the 10th of the month) and day of the week.
- 2). Press the right arrow at the top of the calendar to change the month displayed. If your flight is in the current month, skip this step. Stop when you're at the correct month.
- 3). Touch the square with the correct numeric date. For example touch "7" to add a flight located on the 7th. The day turns blue when selected.
- 4). Click the "+" arrow on the top right of the iPhone screen to add an event.
- 5). Enter in the title and location. For example, write "Vacation flight" for the title and "JFK" for the location to denote a flight leaving from New York's JFK Airport.
- 6). Look for the "Starts" and "Ends" field below the "Title/Location" field. Click to enter in the appropriate departure time and your arrival time (these should be on your ticket). Select the start and end times, using the menu.
- 7). Choose an alert to remind you about the flight (found under "Alerts"). Set reminders up to two days in advance.
- 8). Click on the "Notes" field to add notes. Type any reminders you need, such as a note to bring your passport or to stop by the bank to get travelers checks.
- 9). Click the blue button marked "Done" to save your flight in "Calendar."
