Treehouse Holidays Vs Hotel Holidays - What"s the Best Option?
..
but they're not.
Hotels are great, but when hotels try to be treehouses, it's just not going to work.
Treehouse holidays are in a league of their own.
Let me explain.
A hotel is for living it up, in luxury, with someone graciously waiting on you, and catering to your every need.
You don't get this with a Treehouse holiday.
While staying in a treehouse, it's more than likely you'll still have to cook for yourself, and, clean for yourself too - which doesn't sound like much of a holiday if you're comparing services with a hotel...
but don't be fooled.
It is.
Treehouses are: - Relaxing: surrounded by nature; high above the ground, in a tree, with the wildlife (birds, not lions) singing songs around you.
- Eco friendly: built in trees, using eco-friendly building supplies (which trees love...
but more on that in another post) - Refreshing: Take yourself back to the good old days, where technology didn't rule the world, and your only consideration was whether to have one wine or two.
- Personal Fantasy: I can't speak for everyone, but as a child, holidaying (or living, like Robinson Crusoe) in a treehouse was ALWAYS something I wanted to do.
Now that I can afford it, there's nothing stopping me! Let your old dreams become reality.
Now I don't want you to think I'm against hotels, because I not.
The fact is I love staying in hotels, they serve an important role in my life.
But when competing for my money with a natural, beautiful holiday in the outdoors; a treehouse holiday wins every time.
The decision to go on a treehouse holiday shouldn't be taken lightly.
If you're considering it for the first time, you should answer the following questions: 1) Are you wanting to watch the latest Football match, or other sports game on during the weekend? 2) Do you require someone else to make food for you while you're away? 3) Would you prefer someone else to wash your underpants? 4) Are you frightened of the forest, outdoors, or trees? 5) Have you ever seen the Blair Witch Project? If you answered yes to these questions, then a treehouse holiday isn't probably for you.
But bugger it, why not do it anyway? Good luck.
