How to Make a Printable List for Household Chores
- 1). Use your software to design a format for your printable list for household chores and sit down with your kids and agree on tasks.
- 2). Have your kids rate the task and assign total possible points to each of their household chores. Have a scale of minimum to maximum points allowed for each task on your list based upon an agreed upon criteria.
- 3). Be sure you have set up your household list so that it is printable and you can post the chore chart in a visible place for your kids.
- 4). Have the kids check each household task off the list when their finished.
- 5). Parents grade each of their household chores accomplished and assign total points earned for each chore on their printable list.
- 6). Give your kids a mission or sliding scale towards a total number of points leading to their final reward. Depending on the level of difficulty the kids can earn a bigger reward by completing a particular mission.
