    • Some cats may have blood present in their urine (hematuria), which may be seen when the feline urinates outside of the litter box.

    • A cat suffering from a bladder infection may show signs of pain, such as howling or meowing while urinating.

    Straining

    • A bladder infection may cause the cat to strain when attempting to urinate.

    Additional Symptoms

    • Additional signs of a feline bladder infection include dribbling urine, loss of appetite, vomiting, weakness and depression.
