How to Clean Mold From a Cement Patio
- 1). Remove all items from the cement patio and place them in a safe location. Sweep the patio clean with a broom. Cover nearby plants with a plastic tarp to prevent damage to them from the cleaning mixture.
- 2). Mix 1 gallon warm water with 1/2 cup trisodium phosphate if a 5-gallon bucket. You can use oxygen bleach to replace the trisodium phosphate.
- 3). Saturate a brush broom in the mixture. Begin scrubbing the patio with the saturated brush broom. Start at the area farthest away from the entrance and work toward it.
- 4). Let the mixture sit on the cement patio for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse the patio clean with a water hose and let air dry for several hours. Replace the items back on the patio and remove the plastic tarp from the plants.
