Homeopathy
Definition: Developed in the late 1700's by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, who sought a gentler way for the body to heal itself. Homeopathy is the theory of like curing like, and is more easily understood by comparing to the use of dead or weakened organisms as vaccines to prevent the disease caused by those organisms. Homeopathy is a very complex study of common substances, including toxins and herbs, and their subsequent dilution for using to treat various symptoms of disease.
