Medellin's Poblado neighborhood is one you'll most want to visit at night, when bars and clubs come alive with reggae, rock, salsa and vallenato in the Zona Rosa, the blocks around Parque del Poblado (pictured above). Bar Berlin's a good choice on cutesy Calle 10, and we had some extremely decent sushi and drinks in this neighborhood -- fun for strolling and looking for clues to the real nightlife happening in Medellin, Colombia.

And Parque del Poblado's a fine place for a little lunch, shopping and coffee-sipping by day.
