By now, you already know that you should be consuming between one and two quarts 1.14 to 2.27 liters) of juice per day. There are many different ways people do this. Some drink juice – about ½ cup on the hour – and water on the half hour. Adding water like this insures that you get your water in and keep hydrated. Water is critical to get the toxins that are released from the cells out of your body.

Other people just make up the juice they need for the day and then keep it in the refrigerator. Once they feel a little hungry, they go to the refrigerator and grab a little juice.

Still other people drink their juices at meal times and drink water in between. This might be the easiest way to get all the fluids in that you need to get in.

Day 3 Detox Juicing May Involve Additional Detox Methods

By now you may already have noticed that detoxifying the body can be a way to release toxins through the skin or the breath. Your breath may be different than usual and you may want to brush your teeth more often. This is okay.

If you notice body odor, the body is pushing the toxins out through the skin. Many health experts often recommend a few enemas during a three-day fast. These will help ensure that the colon is actively dumping its toxins so that less will come out through the skin.

The good news is that these toxins are coming out. The longer they stay in the body, the longer they have a chance to wreak havoc with your health.

Detox Changed Their Marriage

As you continue today's fasting, you should experience more and more joyfulness, a sense of lightness, a few pounds gone, and brighter eyes and skin. Take a look in the mirror right now to find the brighter eyes and skin.

Have you also noticed that you're sleeping better at night? Or that you have a lot more energy and stamina. It may seem funny but some people can actually lift more weight at the health club after a detox juicing fast or run further. This makes a lot of sense because once the cells are a lot cleaner, they can operate at peak efficiency. It's a hidden secret that not a lot of athletes will share with you!

Day 3 Detox Juicing Recipes

For your day 3 detox juicing, you may want to try a few new recipes. Here are a few new ones you might not have thought of yet:

    Detox Supreme

    1 cup broccoli, chopped
    2 small beets
    1 carrot
    2 ribs celery

    Juice all ingredients separately before adding them together! This one can be strong tasting and also a pretty powerful cleanser, so if you have to dilute it in a 1:1 ratio, that's okay.

    Pumpkin Pie Detox Juice
    
    ½ pumpkin (save the seeds for a few days after you're finished juicing)
    2 apples
    1 pear
    3 ribs celery
    1 cup strawberries
    Cinnamon, pinch

    Juice all ingredients. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice on top of this juice. Refrigerate. It's great-tasting.
