After you start a tropical freshwater fish aquarium there's lots of things to do in order to make your fish home a happy one.
Feeding the fish of course is a main priority but if you feed them garbage they'll end up in the garbage.
That's a pretty obvious statement you might think but you'd be amazed at how quite a few people out there actually feed their fish utter rubbish.
Some folk have admitted giving their fish bread, left over evening meals and even dog and cat food! Me thinks they're having a laugh.
What's more ludicrous than that is the fact that I'm here actually having to write an article about it.
I mean, should I really have to write such an article.
Well it seems so.
Quite a few folk out there cannot comprehend that their fish need fish food and not Sunday's left over stew and dumplings.
I won't go into detail as to what exactly you should give your fish as this information can be gleaned from most good fish aquarium websites, but one thing I will say is stop giving your fish human, dog or cat food.
They just don't want it.
Listen folks, dog food is for dogs, cat food is for cats, human food is for humans (yes I know, dogs and cats like it sometimes as well) but fish food is for fish and there ain't now way around that.
Starting a freshwater fish aquarium is only the start.
You then have to look after your fish and they need good fish food, nothing else.
Go on, make your fish happy.
Give them the correct food so that they, like you, can enjoy their meal times and live a longer happy life.
