Guide Review - Miserly Meals

This book, written by Jonni McCoy, author of Miserly Moms, offers over 200 frugal recipes each costing less than 75 cents per serving. The book has the usual categories including appetizers, main dishes, breads and side dishes but also includes a slow cooker section and vegetarian main dish section. Miserly Meals has kitchen tips and information to help you feed your family inexpensive yet nutritious meals. I particulary enjoyed "The Twelve Days of Turkey" with tasty recipes for leftover turkey. This book also includes bread machine recipes, slow cooker meals, and made-from-scratch mix recipes.
