People are searching for food to eat for energy. Many people are paying much more attention to their eating habits today. Their lifestyles are very busy so they are expecting foods to increase energy and get them through their day.

- Athletes are looking for any edge over competition. So they train hard, take vitamin supplements, and eat energy boosting food.

- Working Moms often have a full day of activity starting the moment they wake up. Their day starts with making breakfast, getting lunches ready and taking the kids to school. After work they often run errands, pick up the kids from school, swing by and grab something for dinner. Finally, when they get home they prepare dinner. They help the children with their homework. When all the chores of the day are done they make sure that the kids have their bath and brush their teeth before putting them to bed. So working Moms are frequently searching for food to eat for energy.

- Dad really needs food for energy. Often men have laborious jobs that require sustained physical stamina. They need at least a few energy boost foods in each meal in order to maintain that level of energy output. As men age it is vital that they continue eating energy boosting food. In my opinion that's why most men prefer meat and potatoes. They need all that protein and since it takes so long to digest it provides a sustained supply of energy for a long time. Raw vegetables at each meal really provide men with the nutrients they need to do their jobs. Living an active life requires energy boosting foods for men.

- Kids really need to have food to eat for energy. We can all agree, serving fruits and vegetables at lunch time, is the best thing schools have done for our children in decades. Energy boosting food like that is exactly what children need to feed their brains and muscles while they are still growing. They are learning at a terrific rate while their muscles are not only growing but they are getting stronger. In the meantime their bones are growing and the brain is expanding. During all this growing, the little ones are running around expending energy at seemingly mach speeds. So for them it's no wonder that fruits and vegetables will be the best energy boost food.

- Grandma and Grandpa are excellent candidates for energy boosting food. As people grow older often they slow down and quit using their muscles extensively. As a result their muscles begin to deteriorate becoming weak. By eating these energy boosting foods they remain active longer so they keep their muscles strong. This increases the circulation in their bodies thereby carrying the vital nutrients to all of their organs and muscles causing them to be healthier. Activity is a very important factor in the life of our seniors. They need to feel productive by still caring for their selves and others. So the sooner we all start eating healthier foods the better.

So if our children today continue with their good eating habits until they are adults we will have a much healthier society when they become middle aged or seniors. The rest of us can improve our own lives by changing how we eat now. We can choose to eat foods that will increase our energy levels instead of a candy bar out of the vending machine at break time. Foods that will increase our energy level like fruit, vegetables, meat, and cheese are full of the vitamins and nutrients we all need in order to do a good day's work at school or on the job. After all grabbing an apple on your way out the door in the morning is no harder than going to the vending machine for that bag of chips. Changing our habits in favor of food to eat for energy will serve us better in achieving the goals we have in our lives. At the end of the day that's what we all want
