Steps involved
There are several steps involved before the therapy takes off. A series of tests and examinations takes place to know the exact level of dislocation. Usually your orthodontist with follow the following steps:
1. Evaluation: Accurate models of teeth are prepared and their position in relation to the jaw, neck and head muscles is evaluated. All this information is transferred to a machine called articulator that analyses your bite and designs a solution customized for you.

You might need to visit your dentist weekly to get the appliance adjusted as per your changing bite.
