Hair loss can have a huge effect on the lives of not only men but also women too.
The main reason for this is because it can have a huge effect on self esteem and also confidence, especially when talking to someone you find attractive.
Now of course there are many treatments advertised on the t.
v.
and in magazines for surgeries and treatments for hair loss, but for a lot of people these treatments can be too expensive, and not only that but the end result can often end out emphasizing the problem rather than solve it: plus these days more and more people want a natural or homeopathic solution to resolve their problem and that's what we are going to look at today, some natural hair loss solutions.
If you feel that you have got early signs of thinning hair or are at a more advanced stage then there are some certain foods that can help prevent further hair loss.
Now don't get me wrong these aren't miracle cures and if you are genetically meant to be bald then they may not work, however getting certain foods into your diet can make all the difference to keeping your scalp healthy, happy and hopefully, hairy.
Hair is mostly protein so on that basis it would be wise to eat food rich in protein, but don't get this confused with eating a diet high in saturated fat everyday or processed meats such as sausage and bacon.
One of the main reasons for this is high fat foods have been found to increase testosterone levels and this in turn has been linked to hair loss; now this may seem a bit of a catch 22 but there are an abundance of good sources of protein which you can eat in an effort to prevent further hair loss.
One of the first sources of protein to look at is fish especially oily fish.
The reason for this is two fold.
First of all there is some research that apparently shows that fish oil is one of the natural and best ways to stop hair thinning or falling out and also can give you healthy and smooth hair.
Also the lack of Omega 3 oil which is found in fish such as salmon and unprocessed tuna, can lead towards the slowdown of the hormones that assist in hair growth.
Now if you are not too keen on eating oily fish to get your Omega 3 then don't despair as there are plenty of supplements on the marketplace that you can take and if you do a little research you are bound to find one that appeals to you.
Another reason to have fish in your diet is because it is a very good source of protein with virtually no fat.
Other good sources of protein for your diet are chicken, calf's liver, brewer's yeast, low-fat cheese, eggs, almonds, beans, and yogurt.
Soy milk and tofu are also smart to add to your diet because they are high in protein and low in bad fats.
Another source of food that is thought to be good for fighting against hair loss is iron.
The reason being is that iron plays an important part in manufacturing hemoglobin; this carries the oxygen in your blood around the body and when this is at  a healthy level then the oxygen is properly dispersed.
The reason why I am mentioning this is that if you are getting a good supply of oxygen to your scalp, then it can help promote hair growth.
Finally here are some good foods to help you add iron to your diet.
Eggs; dates; raisins; dark green, leafy vegetables such as kal and wholegrain cereals are all high in iron.
Vitamin C improves the absorption of iron, so fruits such as oranges, strawberries and lemons are important too.
