- 1). Remove the vomit with a paper towel as soon as possible. Wipe up as much of the vomit as you can.
- 2). Clean the area with baby wipes if you have them. Alternatively, wet a paper towel and add a little mild liquid soap. Use this soapy towel to wash the area.
- 3). Use wet paper towels to rinse away the soapy cleanser.
- 4). Blot the area with a dry paper towel.
- 5). Sprinkle a little baking soda on the area. Let the substance dry and harden for several hours. The baking soda absorbs any trace of the cat vomit.
- 6). Vacuum the area after the baking soda has dried. The baking soda also absorbs odors caused by the vomit.
