Many people these days find doing their own plumbing work a better option that finding a plumber to do it for you.
It is more practical as well as affordable as long as you know how the work is done.
The first set of things you need is the tools to do your own plumbing work.
Generally you may already have all the plumbing products at hand.
But if you don't here is a list of things you will need.
1.
Wrench- get a set of wrenches.
In a set you will find that you get different sizes.
This is because you might have to work with different sizes of pipes and therefore you need different sizes of wrenches also.
You can also try and get a pipe wrench which used to tighten the nuts and bolts that fasten faucets from under a neck type pipe.

Torch- when you are working with copper pipes, you need a torch with gas attached to heat the pipe and then work on it.
You might want to go for a torch that has plenty of gas and also get a replacement cylinder so that you don't have to run out again and again.
It is important that you know how to use a torch as it can be dangerous if you don't have sufficient practice.

Plungers- its common knowledge what a plunger is used for.
To clean out clogged drainage, when your sink gets blocked or your bathroom gets blocked due to accumulated dirt inside the drainage pipe.
By using a plunger is an effective way to clear out the dirt inside these blocked pipes to get them to function better.

Sink Auger- what happens when a pipe won't clean even after using a good plunger? You use an auger on it.
It can clear the pipe by going into it and cleaning it inside.
You also get specially made augers exclusively to clean toilets.
5.
Plumber's tape- a plumber's tape is a plumbers' technical name for a Teflon tape or PTFE tape.
It is used to make a stronger seal around a bathroom fixture.
It is also waterproof.
It can also be used to connect pipes when need comes by.
These are just some of the things that need to have space inside your plumber's tool box.
There are many other small tools that will come in use while working with your pipes.
