How Hyperuricemia Or Gout Leads to Kidney Stones Formation

According to my personal experience of meeting up with hundreds of gout patients, at least 30% of them are having kidney problems.
The sad reality is most of them just accept what was told by the doctors that it is gout that causes the kidney problems and just like gout, there is no way to cure their kidneys.
Most of them end up going through the torturing hemo-dialysis process which eventually makes them dependent on external filtration machine and causes the kidneys become lazier and weaker until a stage that not even a drop of urine can be squeezed out.
The most common kind of kidney problem is the formation of kidney stones in the ureter tubules of the kidneys.
When the uric acid level in the body is on the rise, hypothalamus will send out signals through hormones to the kidney to increase the excretion of uric acid out from the blood in order to maintain its osmotic pressure.
If sufficient amount of water is excreted at the same time to dilute or flush away those uric acids, there will be little or no chance at all for the urate crystal stones to form in the ureter.
Of all the kidney stone patients, about 90% of them do not have the habit to drink water (I mean plain drinking water or mineral water) frequently.
The ironic part is that they often do not admit the fact that their body is crying for more water.
They always claim that they drink plenty of 'water' during the day.
Well, the 'water' they mean are soft drinks, beer, tea, coffee, milk, juices or any other drinkable liquids.
Big No No! Those 'unnatural' drinks will only make you thirst more for water.
Go grab a bottle of beer now and finish it, I can guarantee that you will feel thirstier within 30 minutes.
Alright, you might say alcohol is commonly known to be dehydrating.
Then trying drinking a bottle of cola or any sweet syrup juice, you will get the same result! Look, all these 'modern' drinks are full of excessive ingredients, especially sugar or artificial sweeteners and preservatives.
Consuming these drinks will make your blood to become thicker or hyper tonic which will 'absorb' water out from the interstitial fluids or body cells.
It will slowly make your body cells becomes dryer and dryer.
Under such condition, the kidneys will have to reduce the excretion of water into the urine in order to keep enough water to maintain the blood concentration.
This will result in thick and highly saturated urine that flows slowly through the ureter.
Hyper saturation is the perfect condition for crystallization to happen.
If it continues for a certain period of time, the tiny crystal will grow bigger and bigger until a stage that it blocks the passage of the urine which causes the pressure build up in the kidney, now the kidney is forced to squeeze the ureteral muscle to force the urine trough the small passage and this is when the patient starts to feel some pain.
If you feel there is some weird pain at the lower part of you back (slightly above your hips), I strongly suggest you to go for a blood test to check for the uric acid level and if the result is way above healthy range, chances are high that there are already some crystal stones (may be still too tiny to be seen through X-ray) in your kidneys.
Take action before it is too late because you will not like the way the doctors break those stones.
Try to imagine someone sliding a long fine tubing trough your private part and then twist and poke in order to break down or remove those stubborn stones.
Don't you think cultivating a good water drinking habit is a much better option?
