Tips For Washing the Dishes

Doing the dishes ranks near the top when it comes to chores that people dread.
Many people consistently procrastinate when it comes to doing their dishes; this only tends to make the problem worse.
The longer dishes sit and buildup in the sink, the more foul smelling and rancid they become.
Food and grease can also begin to run off and clog your sink.
This article will give some pointers on how to lessen the stress of doing the dishes, and on how to get them done more efficiently.
Firstly, the way I avoid dish-related stress is to do my dishes as I create them.
After a meal or a snack where I have used a glass or a plate, I go right to the sink and wash it.
Usually this takes less than a minute.
Out of sheer laziness, many people let their dishes pile up until there is a formidable and daunting pile of unclean plates, glasses, pots and silverware looming in the sink.
This is not the intelligent way to go about doing your dishes, as it tends to create a good deal of stress and dread about the prospect of getting rid of the pile of dishes.
It can also make other people in the house upset, because they end up having to wash a dish before they use it.
After a large meal where there are a lot of dishes to be washed, run the water in the sink until it gets hot.
Refrain from running it at full blast, as this will waste water and cause a good deal of splashing.
Scrape any excess food off into the trash, not the sink.
Pour some dish washing soap onto a sponge.
Then put the dish under the running water and scrub it down using the sponge.
Be sure to scrub away any excess food or grease that remains on the dish.
Remember, if you're going to do a job, do it right the first time.
Then, either dry the dishes with a rag or place them somewhere where they can air dry.
Wash your own hands and wipe down the sink, and you are done! As you can see, doing the dishes really isn't the fearsome chore it's been made out to be.
Good luck and happy washing!
