How Do I Remove Super Glue From Upholstery?
- 1). Blot wet Super Glue from the upholstery with white paper towels. Avoid smearing the glue as you blot carefully.
- 2). Pour acetone into an eye dropper. Place one to two drops of the acetone directly onto the dried Super Glue. Blot quickly with a paper towel. Place another one to two drops of the acetone onto the remaining glue and blot away quickly. Repeat the process, removing all the glue.
- 3). Pour 1 tbsp. dry cleaning solution onto a white cloth. Dab the solution onto the remaining stain on the upholstery. Continue blotting the solution, allowing it to absorb into the upholstery.
- 4). Rinse the eye dropper and pour hydrogen peroxide into the clean dropper. Apply two to three drops of the hydrogen peroxide to any remaining stain on the upholstery. Blot the area with a damp cloth, removing the peroxide from the fabric. Blot the area with paper towels to remove excess liquid.
