I also made the effort to clean and completely level off the area.
This way, I won't be having problems laying down the foundation of the shed.
Additionally, you may also want to take note the soil type of your chosen location.
Make sure that the soil is not soft or muddy otherwise the integrity of your shed might be compromised if the soil shifts.
PERMIT I also made an inquiry at our local zoning department if I'll be needing a permit to be able to build an outdoor shed.
And though a permit was not needed in my case, the same thing cannot be said for you.
So, I still strongly suggest that you inquire the applicable law in your area regarding this.
Different locations have different laws regarding this.
Generally, most states implement the permit requirement once your shed is of a certain size.
Better make sure which would be applicable in your area.
