- 1). Place the spindle nut socket over the end of the axle nut.
- 2). Set the dial on the handle of the torque wrench to the correct torque specification for your truck and tighten the lock on the end of the handle to prevent the dial on the wrench from moving.
- 3). Turn the spindle nut socket with the torque wrench until the wrench "clicks," indicating that the correct torque value has been reached.
