Picking out Christmas gifts is hard and time-consuming. You want them to be personal, from the heart and enjoyed by the receiver. Sometimes finding the right gift is difficult because the guy is extremely picky or seems to have everything. But if you know your man's likes and dislikes, sense of humor and hobbies, there are great male Christmas gifts for every guy and every budget. - Let him pick out his perfect gift.Gift Card image by chas53 from Fotolia.com
You do not have to blow your budget to get a guy a Christmas gift he will use and enjoy. If he has a favorite sports team, get him a sweatshirt, cold-beverage insulator wrap, stadium blanket or game ticket. Consider statistic books and non-fiction books that highlight entire teams, sports and individual players.
Though some people think gift cards are generic and impersonal, many guys appreciate them. Get one to your man's favorite store and let him pick out his favorite gift of the season. Use his taste buds to lead you in the right direction. Get him a gift certificate to a preferred restaurant. - If the guy you are buying for enjoys grilling, make him a special grilling package. Be sure to include flavored wooden planks, specialty marinades, grilling baskets, a grill-specific cookbook and a gift card to a local meat shop.
Get the guy who entertains top-shelf liquor, sample packs of specialty beer, membership to a wine club or a home micro-brew beer kit, complete with bottles and personalized labels. If he does not have a second refrigerator, get him a mini-fridge to keep downstairs or in the garage, or a small counter-top wine cooler. - With technology upgrades and new products coming out frequently, your guy would enjoy the latest model of his smart phone, personal music system, entertainment system or electronic reading device. A music buff would appreciate additions to his album collection or premiere tickets to see his favorite band.
If music is not his thing, but he enjoys adventure, set him up with an outfitter and guide or new camping equipment. For a guy who prefers luxury linens to the rugged wilderness, take him away to a bed and breakfast for a weekend, or set him up with some serious spa time.
For guys who like to hit the links or swing a racquet, buy him the best round of golf in your region or set him up with private lessons. New equipment is always welcome, but be sure to get the correct size, model and brand.
