The brand Amul, marketed by Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) in Gujarat news has registered a turnover of Rs 13,735 crore for the financial year 2012-13. This achievement by the company has been even appreciated and supported by the state government. This year's turnover by the company is highest among all country's largest co-operatives having an efficient rating of 18 percent more than last year. In the year 2011-12 it has registered a turnover of Rs 11,668 crore. During 2012-13, Amul long-life UHT milk showed a remarkable growth of 53 percent and sales of Amul Cream also increased by 57 percent in value terms. Amul being the strongest single brand retail in the country has over 7,000 parlours.

For sufficing needs of all people information has to be spread in a commonly known language. As Hindi language in the state has no barriers and most of them are fluent in it.
