- 1). Figure out which part of Big Bear you want to stay in. The Big Bear lake resort area tends to be more expensive than the more secluded cabins. However, there are cheap cabins available on the lake, you just have to know where to look.
- 2). Know your budget. Make sure you take into consideration all of the other expenses associated with renting Big Bear Mountain cabins. Besides the rental fee, you will need money for food, entertainment, and a deposit for the cabin. Draw up a budget to determine what you can afford to spend on a rental cabin.
