Who is especially interested in Christianity, firstly will go to San Pietro square and then can decide to visit the over 280 churches that are within the Aurelian city walls and then the kilometres of catacombs outside the city walls.

To those who love the Baroques, Rome offers the masterpieces of Bernini and Borromini. The beautiful buildings in  Via del Corso and the whitin the whole city centre, that now can be identified in the Spanish Steps and the surrounding streets, Villa Borghese and the many aristocratic residences in the Parioli area.

To visit Rome and to taste its beauties in the best possible way, you can either stay in a beautiful hotel or you can rent a small apartment, perhaps located in the historical centre or in the Vatican area. To make a tour complete we cannot forget to mention the ancient Rome: constructions like the Coliseum and the Teatro Marcello prove the achievement of architectural perfection, while the huge Baths of Caracalla or Diocleziano give the visitor a clear idea of complexity of the Roman buildings.

You can also discover Rome in just three days: all you need is a good organization and a well defined program. The first day you can start from the Spanish Steps, crossing Via del Babuino and go up to the Pincio to admire the city skyline. Once you have visited Santa Maria del Popolo, walking towards Via del Corso, you can visit the Pantheon, Piazza Colonna and then eventually reach Piazza del Campidoglio and the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II.

The second day you can start from Castel Sant'Angelo, then proceed to Saint Peter Basilica: a visit to the Vatican Museums is a must. Then you can reach Trastevere area and walk till the magnificent Trevi Fountain. You can dedicate the last day to visit Santa Maria Maggiore, walking till San Giovanni Cathedral, then you can reach the Coliseum and Imperial Forums by bus, and do not forget to visit the Domus Area of Nerone.

To visit Rome completely and satisfactorily, in a way that makes you see everything, really everything of Rome, you need to stay many days, and renting an apartment in the city centre, perhaps grabbing a last minute price, would definitely extend your stay in this city which is with no doubt the centre of the world: Rome!
