How to Remove Ink From Polyester Fabric
- 1). Spray an old towel with hairspray, then blot it onto the ink stain. Repeat until you notice no more ink being removed from the polyester.
- 2). Saturate the edge of a fresh towel with isopropyl alcohol, and continue blotting over the stain. The hairspray contains a smaller amount of alcohol, so working your way up to isopropyl alcohol will provide a stronger cleaning element. Repeat the alcohol application until the entire stain has been removed.
- 3). Dampen a fresh area of towel with cold water and blot over the area when the entire stain has been removed. This will remove any remaining ink or cleaning residue.
