Outdoor fitness has proven to be effective in eliminating unhealthy lifestyles and change it into something ideal for optimum health. This is because almost all outdoor fitness routines are very physically demanding. The increased in the level of activity and low calorie diet is the perfect combination for weight loss. for this reason, many people are engaging in different outdoor fitness activities such as running, swimming, cycling and hiking. These outdoor activities are all aerobic activities that are very effective for losing weight and maintaining a normal blood pressure and blood sugar level. However, there are some people who want to push their activity level. For some reason, their outdoor fitness activity is becoming more of a obsession rather than a routine. In triathlon for instance wherein an individual would swim, bike and run continuously with little or no break in between. When people talk about endurance sports, they would all think about marathons and ultra marathon wherein people would be running for almost six hours nonstop. The longest triathlon race is composed of a four kilometer swim, a hundred and eighty kilometer bike ride and a marathon which is forty two kilometers. These athletes are able to endure the demands of this sport because of their months of training and discipline. Basically, the key secret in improving endurance is sports are constant training and proper discipline. This combination help athlete tackle any endurance sports without any injuries. A good way to train for endurance is to replicate the scenario or the distance of the race. Practice swimming four kilometers every day, ride your bike one hundred kilometer every other day and train for a marathon during the rest of the day. This way, athletes are able improved their overall endurance. Also, it is important to eat the right type of food to fuel you during training. Always take a high carbohydrate diet and sufficient proteins and fat for body repair.

Although this sport is hard and expensive at the same time, it can't be denied that it is very addictive. Yes, people keep doing it because they love doing the sport. It's like they found the best way to maintain their healthy lifestyle. Others even find inspiration from other athletes and they buy fancy gears and bikes just to keep them motivated. Maintaining a lifestyle with outdoor fitness routine would remarkably keep you healthy and disease free.
