Conservative Party Property Developer Donors Give Millions To The Party
Developers have also been paying thousands of pounds for access to senior Tories through the Conservative Property Forum, a club of elite donors which sets up "breakfast meetings" to discuss planning and property issues.
The government have now set in motion a change to planning laws for rural areas of the country where planning regulations will be relaxed so developers can build on prime agricultural land for huge profit.
The 'Klondike' race is on to pilfer our green pasture lands for concreting over and building warehouses and factory units to the detriment of the rural farmers and adjacent landowners who try to keep developers out of our treasured lands.
First this government tried selling off all the woodlands and forests in England by the back door and even sold Rigg Wood on the leafy shores of Lake Windemere to a local tory landowner without any debate and without any publicity whatsover. They sold it for 124,000 which is a small amount of money when Britain owes the IMF 4.8 trillion pounds or 7,000 per second of every day in interest. The sole purpose of selling off all land and forest was to sack 5,000 forestry commission workers from the government payroll to save money, no other possible reason exists for doing such a thing. This is reprehensible enough, but to now start trying to sell off our rural green land is diabolical treachery of the highest order and must be resisted by all citizens of the UK.
Once this writer emailed every m.p. in the house on the forestry sell-off, fury erupted in the Houses Of Parliament and the m.p's demanded a debate on the issue. The next day it erupted across Greenpeace blog, and many more social media outlets as well as the daily newspapers. Everyone in Britain got to know what this snide coalition government was up to. The debate ended in defeat for the government. Our woodlands and forest were saved - or were they?
Now we have another battle on our hands with this anti-social and anti-democratic Tory led government, that of saving our green pastures for future generations to come and for the rural folk and farmers to live in peace.
