1. Brainstem health: never heard of it? Its also known as upper cervical chiropractic. Upper Cervical doctors focus on the upper neck. This area houses the brainstem. Then brainstem controls and coordinates all function and health in the body. IF it doenst work right, you don't work right. So there is a condition called a subluxation is when one of the top bone of the neck misalign and get stuck. When this occurs it put pressure on the brainstem and the body loses its ability to heal and function. it can also cause the body unbalance premature spinal wear and tear. For instance, in Spine Journal, reaserch shows that if you lose the natural curve in your neck it may shorten your life span by 15 years. So keeping your spine healthy is essential to keeping your body healthy.
2. Nutrition: the American diet is not genetically congruent with how our body works. We need meats, fruits, nuts, seeds, fat and veggies. GRAINS are not what you need. Evidence shows that a diet rich in grains creates inflammation in the body. Inflammation leads to decay of the bones and organs.
3. Exercise: If you don't move your body it will rot. Its that simple. I don't mean go out try to be a body builder. But as my wife says, "I want to sweat for at least 30 minutes a day" so get off the couch and move your body!
4. Mindset: If you play the victim role the medical community want you to believe then you will be sick and in pain. Don't believe in limitations. The body is designed to be healthy for 120 years!
