Sleeping Apnea is known as a condition which someone stops breathing for a span of roughly 5 to 30 seconds while sleeping.

The symptoms in the kids: abnormal behavior, difficulty breathing, betwetting, bad temper, hours of sleep longer than normal.

Depending on the cause of sleep apnea, there are few treatment methods:
  • Diet plan is suggested for those who possess excess body fat in their body.
    The excess fat inside the neck can be the cause of narrowing the airway.
  • Changing behavior is recommended for those who use cigarette in excess, consume excess alcohol frequently and also sedatives.
  • Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is pressurized air being continuously blown into the airway to maintain it obstruction free.
    This way is generally used and is one of the popular method of obstructive sleep apnea treatment.
  • Dental treatment which applies to the suffer by controlling airway open and mouth.
  • Surgery is generally never recommended due to complications involved.
    Surgical procedure can be an alternative only if the case is critical and other techniques do not work.
