DIY TV Aerials
- 1). Cut a wire coat hanger on either side of the hook, approximately 1 inch from the twisted neck of the coat hanger. Shape the body of the coat hanger into a thin rectangle.
- 2). Twist the cut ends over so they form small hooks. Place the coat hanger on a board and mark where these hooks will sit on the board. Install the screws into these marks. Slip a transformer's connectors onto the screws and hook the coat hanger over them before tightening the screws as far as they will go.
- 3). Screw the bracket onto the board and attach it to a rafter in the attic.
- 4). Connect the television cable to the transformer and adjust the aerial until you get a clear picture on the television.
