    • 1). Set the Leupold binoculars onto a flat work space or bench. Tighten any screws on the optic barrels and on the focus dial. Do not over-tighten, just turn the screws until firm.

    • 2). Push the eye-pieces down toward the barrels and check that the foldable rubber has no dry rot or erosion. If damage is present, pull the eye pieces off and replace them with new rubber eye pieces. You can pull the eye pieces off with tweezers.

    • 3). Pour some lens solution onto a chamois and wipe the lenses. Use a dust-free cloth to dry and polish the lenses after the solution treatment.

    • 4). Spray the lenses with compressed air to blow off any remaining dust particles or debris.
