Do you know a couple that you find an unusual match because they are so different? It is said that opposites attracts and that is the way the law of attraction works.
People are drawn together so that they can learn from each other.
We are usually attracted to someone because of something we admire in the other person and we would like that quality in ourselves.
A woman may be attracted to a man because of his practical qualities and a man find a womans intuition an intriguing quality.
When these two people (we will call them Mary and Paul) come together in a relationship then they can not help but learn from each other.
Mary will learn to become more practical and Paul will learn to become more idealistic.
They connect with each other so that they may take from each other what the other person reflect of themselves.
That is often the case that when two people fall in love the other person represent something in ourselves which is laying dormant and needs to come out in us and be developed.
If we are willing to learn then the relationship will work well.
But it is usually when the other person is unwilling to move on and grow that the relationship will have issues.

Many Issues in a relationship can occur from a lack of equality.
Say for instance if Paul thinks he is perfect and resent any interference in his judgment or on the other hand he is happy to let Mary judge for herself and do not try to interfere with her decision.
Of course that would be the same if the situation was reversed for Mary.
If Mary and Paul feel equal to each other in their mind then they will not feel intimidated from the other persons action.
