How to get SR22 Insurance in Nevada
- 1). Contact an insurance agency who is licensed to operate in Nevada to initiate a SR-22 process.
- 2). Pay the fee that the insurance agency will require for processing the SR-22. Make certain the minimum amount of coverage is $15,000 for first party injury, $30,000 for two or more people involved and $15,000 for property damage.
- 3). Wait for the agency's main office to send the SR-22 request to the Department of Motor Vehicles in about 30 days. Receive the SR-22 form from the Department of Motor Vehicles once you are accepted. Maintain the SR-22 for at least 36 months after receipt.
