    Florida State College

    • Located in Jacksonville, Florida State College offers over 200 degree programs, including an engineering technology degree offered by the School of Construction, Industrial and Architectural Technology. The Associate of Science in Engineering program with a specialization in advanced manufacturing takes about two years to complete, and consists of 27 hours of professional courses and 18 hours of electives. The program covers topics such as CAD (computer aided drafting), electronics, robotics and hydraulics.

    University of West Florida

    • The Department of Engineering and Computer Technology at the University of West Florida in Pensacola offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. The information engineering technology specialization focuses on developing and maintaining communication technologies used by businesses and organizations. The electrical engineering technology specialization focuses on digital electronics, electricity and power sources, and the building construction specialization teaches students about building codes, blueprints, estimating and construction management.

    State College of Florida

    • The Manatee-Sarasota campus at State College of Florida offers an Associate of Applied Science in Engineering Technology, a two-year program offered by the Department of Business and Technology. Within the degree program, students can earn certificates in three specialties, including engineering and technical, digital design and modeling, and electronics. Students learn about engineering ethics, manufacturing, instrumentation, drawing and drafting. Students are required to complete an internship at the close of the program.

    St. Petersburg College

    • The Associate of Science program begins with core technology coursework and then progresses to specialized courses in electronics, quality, digital design, and modeling and biomedical systems. Students are required to complete 60-credits of coursework and a co-op work experience at a participating business. Graduates will be prepare to take the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council's test for Production Technician Certification.
