• Ford offered a naturally aspirated 5.4 L V8 engine as optional equipment on XL and XLT trim levels and as standard equipment on the F-150 Lariat. This 24-valve SOHC motor has a 3.55 inch bore, 4.17 inch stroke and a compression ratio of 9.8 to 1. This powerplant produces 300 hp at 5,000 rpm and 365 ft-lb. of torque at 3,750 rpm.
  
  

Supercharged 5.4 L V8

• The F-150 SVT Lightning truck derived its power from a supercharged 5.4 L V8 engine. This 16-valve SOHC motor has a 3.54 inch bore, 4.16 inch stroke and a compression ratio of 8.4 to 1. This supercharged engine generates 380 hp at 4,750 rpm and 450 ft-lb. of torque at 3,250 rpm.
