[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\secfile\shell\open\command]
[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe\shell\open\command]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe]
@="exefile"
"Content Type"="application/x-msdownload"
[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\secfile] - 3). Save the file as exefix.reg to your desktop. Set the "File Type" as "All Files."
- 4). Navigate to your desktop and double-click the exefix.reg icon. Click "Yes" when a pop-up dialog box appears, asking if you want to add the information to the registry.
- 5). Download and install a spyware-removal program such as Spyware Doctor, STOPzilla or MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware (see Resources).
- 6). Open the spyware-removal program and run a full computer scan. When the scan is finished, a list of any viruses and trojans, including Vista Anti Virus 2010, will appear. Delete these files, and your computer will be rid of Vista Anti Virus 2010.
