About one month ago I purchased a door jamb from a local self-defense store, the store not only sells defense products but also home protection and surveillance systems.
Well as my story goes I bought this door jamb.
I was told that I could use it on any of my doors whether it was sliding glass door or a simple door, I was also advised to use it in my windows on those long vacations.
My wife and I decided we would go out for the on the town and get some dinner and catch a movie so before we left I put the door jamb in my sliding glass door because we had a lot of home invasions recently in our area, any way we went out enjoyed our evening and as we pulled into the drive way my wife and I notice there was a car sitting in front of our house, this was nothing out of the ordinary because our neighbors normally have small parties.
As I walked to my front door to open it I heard a loud "BANG" I continued to walk in my door my wife screams I look at the sliding glass door to see a robber trying to get in the door.
The robber was in such a panic trying to get the door open and completely missed that fact that I was standing ten feet from him, I called the police station to tell them that someone was breaking into my house, the police department sent someone out to investigate.
Meanwhile the robber has still gotten no where with the door, the door jamb I bought from the self-defense store was doing its job, I was so scared this thing would never work like it says but man was I wrong! It was so simple to use.
I pulled it out of the package and pushed the push button that makes it extend to the length you need it also comes with two different ends a blunt end for windows and sliding glass doors, and then an attachment that pins under your door handle, all of this is done in a matter of seconds.
So as the police arrive on sense the burglar tries to run and the police instantly stop him.
My door jamb that I purchased has been worth the couple of dollars I spent, it prevented the burglar from entering my home and stealing all my investments.
