If you feel like you are drinking non-stop and you are still thirsty then this is a sign there is a definite problem. Again, this is caused when there is too much glucose in your system and is definitely something that you need to get to the bottom of. A lot of times these too issues can go hand in hand and may be hard to determine If there should be a concern or not. Obviously, if you are drinking a lot of water you are going to have to urinate more. But by being aware of these symptoms of diabetes you can always see your doctor and let he or she determine whether or not there is a problem.

Another big warning sign is if you start losing weight without even trying. This symptom occurs more with Type 1 Diabetes but is definitely something to be watched for. If you also feel weakness or fatigue you may be diabetic and you should be checked out.

If you feel tingling or numbness in any of your extremities such as your hands, legs, or feet you definitely need to get this checked out right away. People generally go unaware of this, as it happens so gradually, but it is essential that you get it checked out right away as if it continues there could be permanent nerve damage.

There are several other symptoms of diabetes that you need to be aware of. If you have blurred vision, if your skin itches, if you have bruises that take a long time to heal up, or if your cuts get infected frequently you really need to get things checked out.
