How to Kill Ant Hills in a Lawn
- 1). Mix distilled vinegar and water into a pot with a 2 to1 ratio. This means 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of vinegar.
- 2). Heat the water and vinegar in a the pot on your stove until it reaches a full boil.
- 3). Pour the boiling water over the ant hill slowly. Focus the water on the top of the ant hill.
- 4). Repeat the process until you no longer see activity in the ant hill.
- 1). Pour a bag of pipe tobacco into a container of water over night.
- 2). Strain the tobacco out of the water with a strainer.
- 3). Pour the tobacco water over the ant hill. The tobacco will kill the ants.
- 4). Repeat the process until you no longer see activity in the ant hill.
